The Pemberton ArtHOP was born out of a desire to promote our local artists and brighten up the streets of Pemberton in a COVID-friendly format.
In its first year, with the pandemic in full swing, the event saw works of art adorning street-side windows of businesses all around town.
Custom painted skateboard decks, glass works, macrame, indigo dyed textiles, photography and fine art submitted by over 30 talented artists and creatives were on display from the middle of August through September.
People were encouraged to 'hop to it' and walk or ride around town searching for the colourful PAC dots.
The ArtHOP proved so popular that we made it an annual event!
In its second year we welcomed back many familiar faces, and were excited to introduce Pemberton to some new, emerging artists and businesses.
We don't know about you, but we're already starting to wonder what 2022 will bring...
THANK YOU TO ALL ArtHOP 2021 PARTICIPANTS
