Community Art Project & Exhibition

WHAT IS POSTAL ART?

Postal art is an art movement centred on mailing small-scale art works through the postal system. A wonderful way to create and collaborate together as a community, while we stay apart for now.

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?

Create a small work of art on the back of a postcard responding to the statement: STRONGER TOGETHER

  • Create your artwork on a blank postcard provided by the Pemberton Arts Council OR create your art on any postcard sized 4”x6” surface (feel free to be creative!) You can download a free template here
  • You can find complimentary postcard templates at Pemberton Valley Supermarket, Frontier Street Pharmacy, The Pemberton & District Community Centre, Town Square Restaurant, North Arm Farm and The Beer Farmers.
  • All media is welcome! Drawing, painting, collage, photography, if it fits on a postcard, mail it to us!
  • Mail your artwork through the postal system to: The Pemberton Arts Council, PO Box 1169, Pemberton, BC V0N 2L0
  • All postcards arriving by June 15th, 2021 will be exhibited in a community collective exhibition
