Anette’s paintings are inspired by her surroundings, be it cooking in her kitchen, nature walks or attending to her garden.During her travels she seeks to engage with the local arts communities. Taking art classes whenever possible, batik classes in Thailand,art journaling class in Hawaii, life drawing in New Zealand or blacksmithing in San Francisco.
The Pemberton Arts Council is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster a vibrant arts scene by elevating artists and increasing community participation in the arts in the Pemberton Valley.
The Pemberton Arts Council operates within the unceded territory of Líl̓wat Nation and honours the language, culture and history of the Lil̓wat7úl.
