Ryan Scoular is a First Nations carver from Port Alberni B.C. who has recently moved to Pemberton. He learned to carve with his father Derald. He has done a wide variety of pieces such as Totem poles, Headdresses and masks. Ryan continues to honour the timeless tradition while pushing his own limits as an artist.
The Pemberton Arts Council is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster a vibrant arts scene by elevating artists and increasing community participation in the arts in the Pemberton Valley.
The Pemberton Arts Council operates within the unceded territory of Líl̓wat Nation and honours the language, culture and history of the Lil̓wat7úl.
