The Pemberton Arts Council offers a rotating program of weekly creative workshops designed to make the arts accessible, welcoming, and part of everyday life in the Pemberton Valley.
Our creative workshops are hands-on sessions led by local artists and creative professionals. They focus on learning through doing in relaxed, low-pressure environments where people can explore materials, build skills, and reconnect with creativity in meaningful ways. From painting and fibre arts to mindful and musical practices, these workshops are designed to be approachable for beginners while still engaging for those with experience.
Alongside our weekly creative workshops, we are hosting a Creative Business Series, with the aim of one practical workshop each month for artists and creatives who want to grow or clarify their small creative business. Developed in collaboration with the Pemberton Chamber of Commerce, this series focuses on realistic, sustainable approaches to branding, marketing, and online presence. The goal is to support creative work in ways that feel clear, manageable, and aligned with long-term wellbeing.
All PAC workshops reflect our mission to increase community participation in the arts while elevating local artists and strengthening the cultural life of the Pemberton Valley. They are designed to lower barriers to participation, create opportunities for learning, and support creativity as an essential part of community life.
