Join the Board of Directors

The Pemberton Arts Council is seeking passionate and community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors. If you care about the arts and want to help strengthen creative opportunities in the Pemberton Valley, we invite you to consider becoming a director.

What is a Director?

A Board Director is a volunteer leader who helps guide the direction and success of the organization. Directors work together to support the Pemberton Arts Council’s mission, ensure strong governance, and help shape the future of arts and culture in our community.

As a director, you will collaborate with fellow board members to:

  • Provide strategic direction for the organization

  • Support programs, events, and initiatives that benefit the community

  • Advocate for the arts and local artists

  • Ensure the organization operates responsibly and sustainably

Board members bring a range of skills, perspectives, and experiences, and a shared passion for strengthening arts and culture in Pemberton.

Who should apply?

We welcome applications from individuals who are enthusiastic about the arts and community engagement. Experience in areas such as governance, fundraising, communications, finance, event planning, or community development is valuable, but not required.

How to apply?

We are currently accepting applications for new directors. Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026 to be considered for nomination at our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Please note that only members in good standing of the Pemberton Arts Council are eligible to apply and vote at the AGM.
