Calling all Mural Artists!
The Pemberton Arts Council (PAC), in partnership with the Pemberton Valley Supermarket and the Vancouver Biennale, invites artists to submit proposals for a new mural at the Pemberton Valley Supermarket. This exciting public art opportunity will bring a bold and inspiring mural to downtown Pemberton, celebrating the theme “The Pemberton Valley”—its landscapes, culture, and identity.
Project Details:
📍 Location: North-facing exterior wall of Pemberton Valley Supermarket
💰 Budget: $14,000 (covers artist fee, materials, insurance, and other project costs)
📅 Application Deadline: March 15, 2025 (before 6 PM PDT)
Eligibility:
Open to British Columbia-based artists
Priority consideration for Lil’wat Nation artists and Pemberton Valley artists
Artists with experience in large-scale murals or outdoor public art encouraged to apply

(Tables & chairs provided—bring your own table covers & display materials!)
✨ Bonus: We’d love for artists/artisans to perform live demos of their work! 🌟
